Big History Institute

Big History Institute is Macquarie University's initiative to take Big History to schools and students around the world.

Big History connects knowledge across disciplines and challenges students of all ages to embrace science, think critically, solve problems, and drive innovation. Big History takes students through a wondrous journey that starts with the Big Bang and moves through modern societies to future scenarios.

Our Big History School resource centre contains three free courses designed for teachers and students:

  • Big History School Junior (ages 8-12)
  • Big History School Core (ages 12-16)
  • Big History School Senior (ages 16-18).

Our Big History short courses in Coursera are designed for everyone interested in the concept of Big History, including undergraduate and post graduate students.

Big History School

Big History School is a set of educational resources that expand the minds of students with a journey from the beginning of the universe to modern societies, to show how everything is connected.
